Review on 📶 SANOXY 150Mbps Wireless USB WiFi Adapter - Windows 2000/XP 32/64-bit, Vista 32/64-bit, Linux, MAC OS X Compatible by Paul Powell

I had trouble installing on Vista initially. After 3 hours of brainstorming, I luckily found a post on the internet that addresses this issue. The Zonealarm firewall is to blame. Even if you turn it off, this adapter will not work. You must completely remove the zonealarm firewall if you have one. After removing the adapter, it worked perfectly right away. Later I installed the PCtools Firewall and there were no problems. In terms of performance, this adapter is really great. It detected more signals than any other laptop's internal adapter. The speed is amazing and way better than the internal wireless adapter on another laptop. As the other person in the post said, don't install the bundled software on the drive. This is primitive and not necessary to use this product. You can also check the Realtek website for the latest drivers. My speed improved after installing the latest drivers from their website. Your website is very poorly designed. You cannot expect any service for this product. When I tried to contact them, their website asked me to install Skype. That's the only way to get to them. I installed Skype and got a message that their office (in Taiwan?) is closed. So unless you're computer savvy, they don't have much information or help if you run into problems. Still a wonderful product with great performance for the price. But very fragile, the plastic cover came out on the second day, you have to put it back on. Update: 11/6/2010 I would recommend having a small USB extension cable and plugging it into the USB extension cable. That may sound like an effort. But if we plug it directly into the laptop's USB ports, I'm pretty sure it will fall apart within months or weeks. I tested with a small USB extension cable. When I use this product with a small USB extension cable, there is no impact on speed or connectivity.
