Fine. I had to buy some disposable pads to put on because they still leaked urine down the sides of my dog's tummy. I finally found that if I walk on it sideways and the sides are hanging down a bit I can put a disposable pad on top for full protection. I had to hand wash 1-2 bandages a day because the washing machine couldn't get the smell out. It was so tedious and very time consuming. I'm so glad I was able to find a solution relatively quickly. I have to say that these liners are an essential part of this solution. The only criticism is that when I opened the box I noticed that the stitching at the ends came undone. Everyone has had this problem...they may not start to unravel, but I decided to tie them off at the end before using Jic. They are also very soft and my dog had no problems or rashes. I was pleasantly surprised, especially since he has to wear them almost all day and night. They are also very easy to hand wash. However, I am not sure if they will hold up to a wash. For the amount you get, this is a great price! I've only had to use 3-4 from a very large bag since I bought them a few months ago. The exam keeps me forever!
