I am very impressed with this paring knife. When I use it the cuts are so precise and crisp and leave no dents. If you look directly at it you can see how thin the blade is, but there is absolutely no curvature. It's definitely not a fillet knife. I can maneuver with precision and my control is absolute. I like that the handle is longer than the blade itself. Everything is one whole, so there's nowhere for bacteria to find a safe haven and multiply. It uses a new generation of steel and is very different from any other knife I currently have except other Hast knives. It's very, very poignant as I learned it the hard way straight away. After many days of intensive use, I never had to sharpen it. I am very pleased with the quality and functionality of this incredible paring knife and will be using it for many years to come.
