I haven't used a dryer in several years and have resorted to rolled compressed foil balls to eliminate static electricity. It actually helped a bit with the static, but not as much as I would have liked. I was considering buying more expensive wool drying balls but stumbled upon these and chose them instead because I liked the ability to add essential oils. I don't regret a second! They're a bit noisy when the dryer starts tipping over as they're plastic, but quieter when the heat softens them. They are good at removing static electricity and I love that I can add any scent I want to my clothes. I would recommend them and buy them again.
