I am using a DVI connection and my monitor shows random blue noise bars. I've tried this on two different Dell monitors, both work when connected directly to their respective computers, but both get streaks when connected to them via an adapter. It looks like noise in the cable, and most likely this is due to the adapter. I'll buy another adapter and update this review later if I come across the same thing with the same monitors. Update: I tested this on a second monitor and found issues with the monitor running for a few tens of seconds and shutting down. I also saw some stripes. I am convinced that this adapter is bad.
