We love these magnetic animals! We use them around the house and take them to the streets with a metal board for quiet activities. I will say that I had to glue some of the animals because they immediately started peeling off. In fact, the animals are printed on thick paper and then glued to wooden figures. I just super taped the edges to make sure they didn't fall off. Obviously you couldn't do this if you had a child who still puts objects in their mouths. The other thing I contacted the company about was the risk of poisoning. The animals sit in a wooden box on a blue piece of cardboard. At first glance on Christmas morning I thought the cardboard was actually the painted bottom of the box and thought nothing of it. Fast forward after a few minutes and my son takes the cardboard out of the box. There is a moisture sachet on the back of the carton with "DO NOT EAT" written on the front of the sachet. You couldn't tell from the toy. The box was thrown away and I contacted the company. It's our job as parents to carefully inspect toys, but the packaging looked safe. Would buy again but please be warned parents there may be a poison sac on the back of the box.
