It's a bad idea to buy these. They are advertised as silver plated copper/hypoallergenic. Well, silver and copper are NOT magnetic and will stick to the magnet like flies. And you know. This is another one of those "buyer beware" products that they can tell you all about, true or not, like stamping 925 silver on things that are NOT sterling silver. And yes, they get away with it because nobody controls these items. Get a good magnet (preferably an earth magnet) and check your jewelry. It's not 100% but apart from the scratch test it certainly helps. I am sending these back.
