The quality disappointed me in many ways. First, it was very difficult for them to pull back the lever. They seemed to freeze together. Second, they were a bit shiny on one side and very rough on the other. Third, they weren't smooth anywhere. Even the part that goes through the ear was so rough and "jagged" that it hurt to put them in. In fact, they were serrated on all sides, giving an unfinished appearance. They are useless to me and I would not recommend these French Hook Ear Wire Earrings.

It's a bad idea to buy these. They are advertised as silver plated copper/hypoallergenic. Well, silver and copper are NOT magnetic and will stick to the magnet like flies. And you know. This is another one of those "buyer beware" products that they can tell you all about, true or not, like stamping 925 silver on things that are NOT sterling silver. And yes, they get away with it because nobody controls these items. Get a good magnet (preferably an earth magnet) and check your jewelry. It's not…
