Review on Advanced Copper Electronic Descaler and Water Conditioner by William Bell

I was skeptical about these devices as some reviewers said they didn't work. After reading the positive reviews I decided to give it a try, I know they don't soften the water but they change the crystal structure of the minerals in the water to prevent scaling and improve the effectiveness of soaps that are normally used with not handle hard water well. Other similar devices cost 5-10x more so I decided to try this as a cost effective approach. I bought a dual parallel board because after testing the water I needed 14 GPG and the dual parallel model offered 15 GPG which was perfect. This was noticeable right from the first use. The soap foamed better, the hair became cleaner, but after a few days the result intensified. The detergent in the sink ran down quite quickly and more soap had to be refilled. After 3 days, the soap scum collects in the sink and stays there for hours! I waited a week to clean the fixtures and check for debris again. So far I am very satisfied with this device and have recommended it to friends and family. The instructions aren't very good, just wrap all the wire as tightly as you can so there are no gaps in the wrap. Secure one end with a zip tie and repeat the process on the end, leaving about 6-8 inches of wire on each end. If you have two sets of cables, just keep them more than an inch apart. You will need to strip about 0.25 inch of the wires before connecting them to the screw head on the board. Test your water FIRST to determine if these devices are suitable for your water. If your water requires more than 15 GPG, this will not work. You need a larger and more expensive piece of equipment that can handle this level of severity. All I can say is that this thing does exactly what they say it does and I can attest to it. Will update if anything changes but I think it's a good buy if like me you need hard water descaling.
