Great smell but doesn't last long

This material has a chewing gum smell and I love it but I find the smell wears off quickly like after a month or two. Not sure what the typical lifespan of an air freshener is. Maybe I'm just getting used to the smell, but I wish I could still smell it! I get compliments on how my car smells when I have passengers.
