Dip cord in hot water first
When I first got it my 3/16 cord didn't fit the stand and I went to the hardware store for a 1/4" to 3/16" adapter to install. It worked, but then I decided to do some more research and found that you have to put a cup of water in the microwave until it boils, stick the tube in for 15 seconds and then slide in perfectly and get a very tight seal. It would be helpful to include this information in the description as it is absent from most listings of this and other bullet adapters on Revain.
