Review on Low Carb Cake Pop Protein Powder - PEScience Select; Gluten Free and Keto Friendly; 27 Serving by Donna Lawson

It's got sucralose in it!

Never tried protein powder. To be honest, the hype surrounding him is driving me insane. But I struggle to get enough protein in my diet because I don't really like meat (other than fish). I've noticed this trend (over the years) that when I'm eating "intuitively" my protein levels are really low. But I'm also often hungry, so I opted for protein powder. I chose this one because it's a blend of whey and casein and it seemed like a good "starting point" for non-athletes (I run and dance, but I'm not a fitness freak). Another big reason I bought this is the "sample size" which is only $13 for 5 servings. There's no way I want to get stuck with a 2 lb can of protein powder in a flavor or shape I hate! My biggest complaint is that it contains sucralose AND Ace-K (acesulfame potassium). I have not noticed it; I had to check the ingredients. Abby Sharp has reviewed a number of protein powders (on YT) and named those that contain artificial sweeteners, but she hasn't said anything about them. over $2 per serving. It's very versatile, especially this sample size. The flavor I chose - vanilla - is good, but the added sugar is very noticeable. I put 1/2 scoop in 1/2 cup oats with 1/2 cup blueberries and the taste made me nauseous. Artificial sweetener is just awful and makes you want more sugar (that's why PEScience's motto for protein powder is "the taste you'll crave" LOL).
