If you've ever been a GNC regular, you know there are a million overpriced, horrible-tasting protein powders out there. This isn't one of them. In fact, even at a very low price point, I consider all of the Syntrax Matrix flavors head and shoulders above anything but Muscle Milk, and it has almost no carbs. I've only been able to find this from Revain and small independent supplements, so I prefer to order in bulk, especially when trying to lose weight. Luckily, if you have a good range of flavors, you can have a few cocktails every day and not get tired. Protein can also be mixed very well with ice in a blender or simply mixed with water in a shaker. You won't get those big wet lumps at the bottom that you have to scoop out with a spoon. The quality of the protein is also excellent. As a longtime bodybuilder, I don't understand why people still only use whey protein. This blend takes a full six hours to digest, helping your body regenerate muscle where whey protein took only two hours to digest. In general, I wouldn't buy anything other than Syntrax or Prohealth Protein.
