Visually they don't look like pure lead crystal at all. The glass is shaped in such a way that the cut marks are not as sharp as with cut crystal. But for a home bar, it's solid glass. However, the packaging is not to be commended. I have no idea why these glasses had to come in a "fancy" gift box. The jars ended up on my shelf and the packaging ended up in landfill β ugh.
