I switched from Canon cameras to Sony A7s so I had to sell my Canon lenses and buy new ones. I chose Rokinon because I only care about optical quality and then bells and whistles like vibration control and autofocus. I can say that the optical quality is excellent, I don't notice any difference between this lens and my Canon f2.8L macro. I like the fact that the F-iris control is a ring on the lens, not a dial on the camera. I know I will always be in control of the aperture, I don't have to worry about the camera losing control of it, I love that old fashioned feel too. the lens is a bit heavy but that doesn't bother me, no autofocus but that doesn't bother me either. I've used this lens to shoot flowers and bugs with great results, a lot of my shots are handheld and the lack of vibration control doesn't bother me even on 1-1. I have a YouTube video with some images taken with this lens, username is mattytripps. Here is the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6z3tUkNHr0
