Great lens! It's amazing what you can do with a macro! Have fun! However, I would definitely suggest using the follow focus for the lens. Trying to set focus manually is difficult when trying to stabilize a frame. I love this lens and look forward to getting another Rokinon. Here are some images taken with this lens. I can't get enough of this lens. This allowed me to shoot macro with my RED Scarlet like never before. It has an amazing dual metering scale, perfectly even aperture and focal length, and is actually just as great as a typical cinema telephoto lens. It's hard to beat the performance at less than 10x the price. To be honest I like it better than the Canon 100mm 2.8 because the focus drag is much more realistic.

The Samyang T3.1 ED UMC is a good general purpose lens with close focus and special features for video recording. I switched from Canon cameras to Sony A7s so I had to sell my Canon lenses and buy new ones. I chose Rokinon because I only care about optical quality and then bells and whistles like vibration control and autofocus. I can say that the optical quality is excellent, I don't notice any difference between this lens and my Canon f2.8L macro.
