I researched various stainless steel bowls with lids and finally settled on this particular brand. I've seen rave reviews, but also that some consumers had trouble getting the lids on properly. While I'm happy with the overall quality of the bowls, I'm having trouble keeping the lids in place and closing. They tend to pop out, exposing the food to the air, affecting the freshness of the contents. If you are looking for quality stainless steel mixing bowls and don't need lids, I would suggest ordering this set without the lids as they are virtually useless.
