This product has two major drawbacks that made me spend $200 on it. I have 2 switches to control my ceiling fan and lights separately. Although the instructions provide a wiring diagram for this scenario, the function is not as expected. One switch turns the entire device on and the other controls the lights when the other switch is on. You can't control the light and fan independently with two switches like you can with a fully analog fan. They seem to prefer that you just leave the switches on and use the remote control.2. Each action triggers a loud beep. I've started taking the fan apart to try to identify and disable the speaker as is possible on other models, but the main shaft is pressed into the bearings, requiring a special puller to access the electronics arrive, which may be the source of noise. I would like to return it, but after receiving it before post-processing, the return period has expired.
