Wrap patterns are so cute and my daughter looks so cute in them. However, they turned out to be not very practical. Our tiny 9 pound baby climbs out of them with ease almost every night and manages to pull out one of either arm. Part of the problem is that the velcro lengthens it, which only allows you to wrap it so tight. We tried wrapping her as tightly as the Velcro would stretch, but when she wants her arms outstretched, they slip out. This also turns out to be a safety hazard as you have loose tissue that can (and in our case) easily cover the baby's face if he manages to wriggle out. Fortunately, in our case, we saw this immediately and were able to intervene. I would suggest looking for an alternate wrap option.
