Worked great the first time

Worked great the first time. I changed the jumper settings to have an internal SATA connection and an external eSATA connection. Little did I know at the time of purchase that this board only lets you select two full SATA ports. But that's all I needed, so it still met my needs. You can select both internal ports, both external ports, or one internal and one external port. It took me a few minutes to figure out the jumper setup, but once I figured it out, it was easy. I think they should have shown pictures of possible settings and what ports are enabled. But instead they made a chart for the buyer to figure out how to do it. If you only enable one of the external eSATA ports, you must either remember which of the two ports is active or label it. It comes with an installation CD but I checked their website to make sure I have the latest software driver file. I haven't checked if the CD is up to date. As far as I know it may have the latest driver. There is a short cable to connect to the disk light in case it becomes your boot disk. I only use it as an extra storage drive so I didn't use a cable.

Pros
  • SATA 6.0Gbps ports (internal, external or combo)
Cons
  • Frequency
