Good system for the price

This dual camera backup system from DoHonest is a great solution. The system comes with 2 cameras, a monitor, 3 A/V cables of different lengths, an A/V power cable with a cigarette lighter plug, and an additional power cable if you extend it to connect directly to the fuse panel. First cons: A/V power supply The cable is a bit shorter for longer vehicles. Second, due to the 3 different lengths of A/V cable and length of A/V power cable, you will need to "roll up" the cables when unhitching the trailer. There is no "quick coupling/disconnecting between vehicle and trailer" in this use. The car or they stay on at night. Fourth: Poor installation guide and given YouTube website for installation. Videos don't work. PRO: The reversing camera has IR LEDs and has a very good field of view at night. Bracket Lic The camera also showed a good picture when illuminated by CREE LEDs and reversing lights. The monitor displays quite well and has a self-dimming function for night driving. GENERAL: Very happy with the overall system. I installed the cameras in a high roof snowmobile trailer. My disappointment is that the system doesn't have a convenient quick connect/disconnect between trailer and tractor. My solution to this was to buy a 6 pin Trailer Connection Kit and connect the A/V cables to it so I can disconnect my trailer if needed without having to unscrew and coil long cables and also allows me to wrap around the cable safer to lay in the trailer. Attached are photos of the system at night and my quick connect system.
