This board works well. There isn't enough functionality for it to not really exist. The main question is, will they fit "your size"? My 11 year old daughter uses them and learned to swim after the first day. She just needed that little extra help, using the board to get her to try her hand. Of course, I also used it for purely educational purposes and found it suitable for a person my size. I'm 5 feet 8 inches and 175 pounds. quality material. It doesn't look like a cheap float from the dollar store. This is more in line with what you would expect in a swimming lesson. I am very happy.
