Movable Third Arm

I am currently using this magnet to hold up a riser in a steel channel for an irrigation pump. It's strong enough to get the job done; However, I feel comfortable knowing that if there is an emergency flood, it will rupture. But I bought two. Another magnet is perfect when an extra hand is needed for a DIY project near a metal trim (car hood) or frame. Ideal for hanging a flashlight or holding a tool bag. All you need is an elastic cord or piece of string. Recently changed the filter in the hydraulic pump reservoir. The pool water was cloudy. screw lost. The screw with the magnet is quickly removed. I suspect that this magnet can hold almost as much weight upright as your helper can hold with their arm extended horizontally. Maybe more. Maybe a lot more. These magnets are very strong. However, they are easily removed if tipped off an edge or slid onto a non-ferrous metal surface. No recommended restriction for vicious dogs, naughty children, or angry spouses.
