Pros: very cute, easy to use, well built, can be used as a decorative element (if you like Hello Kitty) Cons: slight hiss when turned on, fluffy sound and button Ok, that is something a man will not buy. Or at least won't show it even if he buys it :p I bought this for my wife who loves all things nice. We needed a humidifier and it serves both, so no brains really. I think the build quality is generally good. From the paintwork to the hull and interior, it's clear a lot of effort went into its creation. The only caveat is the somewhat flimsy valve that controls the intensity of the mist, but even that is better than humidifiers in the same price range. In terms of features, it delivers vapor with adjustable intensity. The more intense the setting, the louder the hiss, but if your TV is on, even at normal volume, you won't hear it. There's also an LED backlight that can be turned on for ambience, but it really only works in low light as it's very dim. I don't see that as a disadvantage, but rather as a small bonus. All in all a good package and something for kids or the young at heart, functional and nice to look at.
