Many nuts and their parts tend to get stuck in the upper jaws. Also, there is a risk of crushing as the seam along the top of the squirrel's head opens slightly and then closes on the flesh of your hand as you hold the head to balance the squirrel. It hurts and I basically just left the squirrel on the shelf and use old crackers. Not worth the hassle or the money.
