Some reviewers have already pointed this out. This is flavored water. There are no added cleaners and/or dyes that "keep your carpets black". I am very careful with my interior design and have used several Chemical Guys products. That floor mat cleaner sucks, but I think what I could suggest instead of CLEANING the carpet is to get their fabric cleaner (Pulsator) and buy a cheap dollar spray bottle at your local CVS store. Squirt some of this liquid inside. Fill it with some water and spray the mats. Then use a soft bristled brush or a soft bristled drill brush. This will remove all stains. If you're looking for a product that will safely blacken your mats without making them too slippery, I don't know what to tell you other than not being too materialistic about the looks of a working part. Any street cleaning or finishing spray will make shoes so slippery that it is actually unsafe and in turn will make the soles of your shoes slippery.
