Review on Memory Foam Ear Pads - Dark Red Replacement Ear Cushions For Sony MDR 7506, V6, CD900ST And Other On-Ear Headphones by Micheal Wright

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Beginning to flake after 2 years use.

I ordered these in 2019. They're pretty good quality, feel nice, and the color really adds a unique flair to otherwise bland looking headphones. They do in fact fit Sony MDR 7506s. The installation is a bit of a pain in my opinion, but this is more sony's fault than these earpads themselves. The noise reduction that they claim is almost negligible, but that's not what I bought these for. After all, if I wanted noise cancellation I would've bought noise cancelling headphones. The reason I can't rate 5 stars is because after 2 years, the material has started to flake off in a manner similar to the stock ones (albeit not quite as quickly or dramatically). For this price point I would've like to get a bit more use out of these. I can probably keep using them for a while before this really becomes a problem, but it is a bit disappointing, and I will likely not order again because the price is high for only 2 years of quality use. Oh well.
