I love these things and have had them for years. It's fun to see and get the world around you from a completely different perspective. My 10 year old granddaughter fell in love with mine for Christmas - she will have her own next year. They have durable cardboard on the outside covered with an attractive design for children or adults. The glassy "marble" allows you to view your surroundings in a kaleidoscopic way that changes as you move the tube. This is no old kaleidoscope with beads and chips inside. I highly recommend this product for children of all ages. I'm 70+ and it still fascinates me. The price is so cheap you can't afford to buy them and give them to everyone you know!
