Ideal for running. If you're looking for a backpack that won't bounce around as you run, then you've come to the right place! I have a slightly unusual build - I'm tall (5'10") with a very small chest (37-38"). Therefore, normal upper body clothing usually does not fit me. But MULE has many strap options so you can adjust it for minimal bounce. I use it for running to the pool and swimming, and even with a decent amount of water in my bladder (40 ounces), there's more than enough room for a towel, swim shorts, goggles, clumsy flip-flops, a purse, a phone, and Keys and maybe a lot more if I were an effective packer. I completely forgot I was wearing it! If my job was only a few miles away and I didn't have to leave kids behind, I would totally use it to run to work. Without a bladder, if you're a good packer, I think a non-bulky set of clothes and a towel will fit in.
