First of all, these are really wonderful shoes. If you are used to Crocs I can tell you there is no comparison. These shoes are way better - incredibly soft and arch support. If you don't need these things, you might not want to pay a tad more for Dux, but if you need some padding and arch support to keep your feet and legs happy, get a pair! I think they have a 2 year guarantee. I have to say that the protector only lasts a short time (sometimes I walk dogs in it), but the cushion and support last a long time. The selling price of the Dux is a bit steep in my opinion, but browsing eBay and Revain I occasionally find a good deal. I highly recommend these shoes.
