. I have four pairs of these "ducks" in different colors and I literally live in them. I have a very painful Morton's neuroma on my left foot and this is the only supportive "shoe" I have found that allows me to walk unrestricted without limping from the pain. I wear them all summer and in the colder months I wear them with socks.

This is my second pair but unlike the first which is incredibly comfortable I get blisters on the inside of the instep. I've tried modifying them by putting moleskin on the edge, heating and reshaping the area, and even gluing on extra arch supports to push the foot off that edge, but none of that worked. I didn't have this problem with my first pair.

This is my second pair of DUX. My first pair was faded and worn but still comfortable after a few years of gardening in hot Florida. I bought this second pair for the house. I bought a pair of these sneakers from an expensive shoe store in town when my feet were charted for custom orthotics. I've been wearing crocodiles around the house (not in public :) ) for many years. The therapist who worked with me referred me to them instead of Crocs. First of all, these are really wonderful shoes. If you are used to Crocs I can tell you there is no comparison. These shoes are way better - incredibly soft and arch support. If you don't need these things, you might not want to pay a tad more for Dux, but if you need some padding and arch support to keep your feet and legs happy, get a pair!
