I had to modify the "glass" with the lightbulb. The diameter of the extreme tip of the LED lamp was larger than that of the "H1" halogen lamp. The flat leads on the LEDs are 3/16" wide, while the leads on my Subaru WRX are 1/4" wide. I had to make adapters for the wiring to work properly. It is almost impossible to clamp the spring clip around the fan. I removed the black plastic sleeve from the LED bulb and installed it first and then the bulb. After a 1/4 turn, the actual bulb became horizontal on one side and vertical on the other, giving me two different light patterns. I played with the edge for several days and got very close patterns to each other. While driving, I encountered a small pothole and the headlight pattern changed. Went and bought new H1 halogen bulbs and removed the LEDs and am planning to return them.
