Review on AEcreative Charger FT 70DR FT 817 ND FT 818 ND by Terrance Singletary

The Yaesu FT65R does not have a charging port directly on the radio and I was looking for an alternative way to charge my radio for times when I don't have access to AC power. This product provides me with just such a method, although the original charging station is still needed. The supplied cable is simply connected to the original factory cable without the adapter included in the scope of delivery. I compared the polarity and voltage to the original and they were within spec (11.8V). With a good USB power supply, it should charge the radio the same as the original power supply. Great product that helps me stay on the air when I'm offline.
