Works as advertised. I have found that the radio has a harder time picking up stations when connected to the network. I tried putting capacitors on the output and inductors on the lines. Not sure what the problem is, will update if I find out.

I was hesitant to buy this for my ft3d but it charged it up, not super-duper slow like I thought it would. The tip comes off so you have to be careful not to lose it, but I think if you have other suitable tips you'll need a 12v charger for something small.

I bought it in an open box but it said it was undamaged, it was wrong and it was partially crushed and I had to bend it and that's what I was hoping for would work. Luckily that was the case as I needed it the day after delivery. The package wasn't crushed or damaged so I'm assuming it must have been in its box which is why it's gone. This tells me someone didn't test it before it crashed as presented in the listing.

I really wanted it to work. If you own a VX-6R, you know the wall wart is huge and doesn't pack well. I really wanted a good plug that would work with the USB plugs I carry everywhere when I travel. I have a Yeasu FT-3DR HT radio. I took a RAVPower 16W solar panel and used it on my radio with this battery charging cable. I also use it to charge my power bank.
