Review on Smart speaker Yandex Station Mini with clock with Alice, black onyx, 10W by Wiktor Wiater ᠌

Terrible quality, disappointed with the purchase.

When choosing between Mini and Light, I would advise Light, it is cheaper, it is more stable, it hears better, it works faster and it even seems that the sound is a little better, perhaps because of the location in the room it seems so. Mini would recommend only if you connect to the speaker through an aux or some kind of inexpensive audio equipment. If connected to a HiFi system, you most likely will not be able to listen, the sound quality is terrible.

Pros
  • Voice and intonation of the voice assistant. Support though not always helps but always try to do it. Manages smart home well. There are interesting features. If you do not focus on sound quality, a quite good background speaker.
Cons
  • Often ceases to recognize who is addressing her. Turns on "my wave" of the wrong person who asked her to do it. She turns off the music herself. Often falls off Wi-Fi. Bad sound, generally to be expected, but for the price it could be improved a bit. Bad sound at the output from aux, if it’s not very important, you won’t notice the difference by connecting it, for example, to harman kardon onyx 7, it will sound quite good, if you connect it to kef q350, the sound quality becomes noticeably worse, yes, I know about bit depth, sampling, etc. , but having such experience just share it. There are two speakers, Light and mini and mini hears much worse and understands speech worse.
