I have these headlights in both cool white and multicolored. Both are wonderful! Cold white everything works great. However, the Multicolor had 1 that didn't work at all and 1 had a low battery and didn't last very long, maybe a few hours. So they would work great if you just had jars with no lids. And they glow all night long! I saw her just before sunrise! Cool white has an unusual very light purple hue that I love. and that sets them apart from my other cool white solar lights, a bit of a change in white lol. They are very easy to assemble. Tighten the light thread and screw on the cap! So easy, my 6 year old grandson made them himself! :) A little advice. For a better view, pull the wires a little so they tangle a bit. If you stretch just enough to touch the bottom of pint jars of jelly, they won't fill the jar to the brim and look miserable. to!)
