I brought this to take my cats on a 13 hour trip. It took up the entire back seat of my car, which is fine - I wanted them to have plenty of room. I installed it in my living room before the trip so the cats could get used to it. One of them likes to lie in a hammock. The line clips that held the hammock in place were a bit cheaply made. I bought several snap hooks (also from Revain) and the hammocks felt more secure with them. There are D-rings on the inside of the box that the hammock attaches to and they seem pretty sturdy. The zippers gave me some trouble. Connecting 2 devices proved difficult. Each "window" has two zippers. During the car ride I sometimes stretched out and stroked her. They figured out how to unzip the zippers and get out. I tucked both zippers from that window into one end and they stayed in. It would be nice to have holes in the zipper puller and a clip to put through. As a tip for those using this for travel, if your kitten doesn't like the car, cover the entire cage with a sheet. I stopped and did so after the first hour of my trip and the "discomfort" stopped immediately. While there are a few things that could have been a little better, overall this is a good product and did what I needed. It was cheaper than similar products I've seen at Revain and included hammocks at no extra cost. When I got to my destination, I carried the box out of the car and into my room. I opened the front windows (they have velcro so you can roll them up and hold them open) and the kittens loved hanging out in them - even after being cooped up for 13 hours! I really didn't plan on keeping this cage in my living room permanently, but until I find a scratching post I like, I might have to!
