Pretty good, but I prefer the Peloton HR monitor. Hairy chest recommended

So I picked this up to compare to my more expensive Peloton HR monitor. I would be open to using heart rate monitors like this for more of my workouts and runs, but I've only used them during a few peloton rotation sessions at the moment. I'll mention that I'm a guy with a pretty hairy chest, so I know it's not ideal for this type of device. But what I can say is that I've usually had success with my Peloton HR monitor on the side where I have more exposed skin. Sometimes it takes a bit of fiddling to get it in a spot where it will stop and take my heart rate. But as soon as I'm on the road, I'm usually ready to go. I can say I struggled to get this HR monitor to work the same way. So, for hairy people who don't want to cut or shave a sharp chest line, this heart rate monitor probably isn't as good as my experience with my Peloton heart rate monitor. I don't use any of the heart rate monitors as recommended for chest and hair positions, but I don't think this monitor has status LEDs. This annoyed me because I often move my heart rate monitor to get it in place, and with Peloton I have red and blue status LEDs to help me see if it's on and detecting my heart rate. I didn't have one with this HR monitor so I kept updating my phone or Peloton to make sure it was positioned well enough to work. I will say that it is slightly smaller and lighter than the Peloton HR monitor. The strap is basically comparable but I felt the plastic shackle to snap it around was smaller which could be a good thing but it was more difficult for me to just fumble for the shackle/clip, when I wanted to unbuckle the strap and take it off my body. Overall I think this is still a functional and enjoyable device for the price. I just found it easier to use the Peloton HR monitor considering my body hair and maybe the size/shape of my torso. I've attached some images to show a comparison with the Peloton HR monitor and strap in case it helps anyone else.
