Although the Brother Intellifax 2840 was not listed as a compatible device in the product description, I took the plunge and ordered it anyway. Our fax machines use TN450 toner. It arrived very quickly within 2 days which is good when you realize that no one has ordered extra toners. The toner was wrapped in plain black plastic with an orange plastic cap in the "ink" section. I attached the toner to the drum and it fitted perfectly. The whole unit went into the fax machine with no problems. Faxes and copies have no smudges or lines. We are satisfied with this tonic. I wonder what the price will be. Hope this lasts a while.
