Review on Shure SE215-K Sound Isolating Earphones: Professional Audio Quality, Secure In-Ear Fit - Black by Frank Villanueva

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Outstanding headphones for their class and price

I followed another reviewer's advice to get the DeOxy Gold liquid and prime the contacts before even using them for the first time and have had absolutely no technical issues with these headphones for more than 2 years. SOUND QUALITY: 4.5/5. Not bad, but not the best sound quality I've heard. The bass isn't as punchy and crisp as other pairs I've had before. For general music enjoyment, though, they're still quite good quality for the type and class of headphones they're supposed to be. I often use them on airplanes with foam tips in combination with other outdoor in-ear headphones and never hear babies cry in flight again. although such a combination hurts in the ears when worn for a long time, e.g. B. for flights longer than 9 hours. Durability: 5/5 I often break headphones, even expensive ones, after 1.5 years. Now they are 2.5 years old and they are still in the ranks. I have a hard case from an old pair that I carry them in. They last a long time! Obviously I don't use them for training or when I'm very physically active as they are wired and they suffer. Noise interference when cables are moved and eavesdropped due to the nature of the headphones, for the same reason they must be worn around the ears to minimize this noise. If you know the strengths and weaknesses of these headphones and use them as intended, you will really like them.
