The coating wears off, the loop on the loop broke after about a year of use
Received as a gift about a year ago. Comfortable fit. These are my readers to use with my Samsung tablet and phone. After a year of use, the coating began to wear off, but the reader was still usable. When I recently removed the reader, the shackle snapped at the loop. Glad it was part of 2 packages. Now I use the 2nd pair. I know these are budget readers and they have actually lasted longer than some of the other readers I've had. They don't have spring-loaded hinges that could take some of the strain off the temples and hinges.
