Good temporary lighting for chicken coops

I hung this light in my coop to teach my chickens to go inside at night as they don't like dark places. I use it every night for 15-30 minutes and charge it every 5-7 days. The lantern has a hook at the top which I used to hang it on the roof of the chicken coop. With the remote control I can turn on the light and change the brightness without having to start the flashing mode; Some lights like this let you cycle through the ugly blinking mode before going back to normal and I'm glad this light doesn't do that when using the remote. The timer function on the remote works well but results in a small blink indicating the timer command has been received (but luckily that doesn't bother my hens). A few other things to watch out for: - If you leave this light in a dusty place or leave it hanging for a long time like I did, the charging port is on the top where dust collects, so clean the B port .by blowing out or using compressed air before connecting the charger. - If the light seems dimmer than before, it's time to charge it, and it's probably only used continuously for about 15 minutes, during which time it will get dimmer.

Pros
  • Waterproof: This rechargeable emergency light can be used in any weather. Ideal for bedroom, garage, car, camping, hiking, emergencies, power outages etc.
Cons
  • Legacy model
