Original review 08/16/2021 I have already tested a few Bluetooth speakers. I think I should consider the sale price when posting a review. Nobody would expect the best behavior from a $300 speaker for a tenth of that price. This speaker has pretty good clean sound quality, including a fair amount of base. I wouldn't call it "deep base" as it says on the box, but given the small speakers there is some base. The sound reproduction is smooth over the entire range from low to high frequencies. I turned it to full volume from my phone. It didn't distort and was quite loud. One complaint has to do with voice prompts, which I really don't like. The good news is that voice prompts come out of this speaker at a very comfortable low volume. Normally I would turn down the power on the speakers for voice prompts, but due to the low volume I'll continue with that. The only other complaint is that I was hoping the 5000mAh battery would last 10 hours or more. 2000mAh battery that only lasts 5-6 hours. I believe this will be enough for many. Bluetooth pairing worked well. Pretty simple, like most Bluetooth devices these days. Almost everything on the outside is "piano black”, which is very shiny. There are often fingerprints on these surfaces, but since you don't work with such a speaker that often, that's ok. The remote control can be handy. It works well. I couldn't turn the speaker on with the remote, but turning it on allowed me to turn it off. Pretty good soundbar for the price. I recommend it.
