Disappointed. . . . Rarely charges through cases others make

I've used several other wireless chargers, mostly flat and most if not all, and have had no problems charging through most phone cases such as the Samsung Galaxy. B. the Otterbox cell. Phone or Rubber Fire 10HD cases for tablets. I was hoping that this charger, which is the 20w angled version, would perform as well if not better than some of my older angled wireless chargers. However, this charger does not work with any device I have, including those that have worked with less powerful flat or angled wireless chargers in the past. I am using a high quality 3.0A power adapter and a high quality USB Type-C cable. With this setup, I can get other angled chargers to charge in their cases, but this wireless charger doesn't, even at slower speeds. Sometimes it tries to charge but after about a second it stops and the device doesn't show that charging is in progress. It does not matter whether the device is switched on or off. When you take my devices out of their cases, they charge normally, so this wireless device charges as well. It even charges at high speed. I've tried this wireless charger on several different devices with and without a case, even with a few extra Qi charging antennas and they all work without a case on this charger. I've tried the same devices in a case with four or five different angled and flat wireless chargers from different manufacturers and all but one charge with the case. It's a shame.

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Factor set
