Totally worth it! - my new review
I bought it as a first camera for my 5 y.o. grandson, as we were going to an airshow. He ended up taking over 250 pix, of which 205 turned out. The majority of ones that didn't turn out were due to beginners thumb in the pic. I would recommend this camera for its ability to take good pix AND because of the price.

- Operates with three AAA Alkaline Batteries, never worry about losing charge (not included)
Cons
- Limited manual settings make it difficult to achieve creative control over photos and videos
