New Change: FROM 1 STAR TO 5 STARS SI bought The Gambler on a whim. You can see my complaints below. I'm not saying this is a bad product because it is. Gambler is a very unique scent and it really smells exactly as it was described: leather bourbon and tobacco. It just wasn't for me. I liked the idea of the product and it's well made and sold. When this company contacted me and asked if I liked their product, I let them know the scent wasn't for me and I probably wouldn't buy again. The answer came quickly and honestly. She offered to send me a new fragrance for free and also included a soap sample. This time I got Flaming Saddles along with Fire in the Soap Sample Hole. Although Blazing Saddles is again not my scent, it smelled a lot better. The fire in the hole is amazing. It's like the smell of pine camping. That's not for me either. I'm a white man from Seattle working in the financial industry. I'm ALMOST not cool and not strong enough to deal with this smell. This is a wonderful product and even the best company. I apologize to the woman who listened to my concerns. I forgot your name, but you're a perfect fit to represent the company. I will be buying more of this product as gifts for my more male friends. Great job on everything. ORIGINAL: Not what I expected. I loved the idea as much as the marketing and really wanted to like it, but this scent is simple. Switched off. It smells like leather saddle balm in the most horrible way (that's my fondest memory). Like lighting a scented candle under the saddle? I tried and it was ma'am. I got to my girlfriend's house and she didn't tell me until later that she thought I smelled like a flea collar. Needless to say, I'm a slacker. The description was really interesting and maybe a different scent would have been better but I don't spend money to find out.
