I have tried on many Columbia shoes over the years. They all looked like they would work well ie waterproof, durable, but none of them were very comfortable. This is my second pair of these shoes. I find them just as comfortable to wear as my running shoes with amazing cushioning. They're a little heavier and naturally less breathable than running shoes, but in return I get a pair of waterproof shoes that are comfortable all day. Plus, unlike sneakers, I can wear them to work with dress pants and still look business casual. My foot as measured is a smudge at a size 10 and I have found that I need a size 10.5 for the perfect fit in these shoes. Both pairs I bought are a size 10.5 and fit the same, so at least my experience is that they are the same. All in all, if you're lying about the looks and wondering how they're going to fare in the comfort department, I highly recommend them.
