The fact that it allows us to do so many different things in one system has been great for our business needs (security management). It's fairly straightforward to navigate when searching via keyword or by application/component level but there isn't much out-of-the box functionality which can be customized easily - we have had issues with customizing certain features such as LDAP searches etc., however this could just be an issue at my end since I am not familiar enough yet with their product line. We needed more control over who was accessing what applications & components within those apps. This allowed me greater flexibility around permissions than other products available in market place allowing access from anywhere without having IT involved every time something changed. It's easy to use and works well for most of our needs. I like that you can customize the look and feel of the portal. It can be a bit hard to navigate at times and the search functionality is not as easy to use as I would like. The support is also not as friendly as I would like. I do not have any dislikes about Encode. I think it is a great platform and it has helped us solve a lot of our problems.
