Hello, these speakers work the same as the $40 desktop speakers you can buy at Revain. You're paying nearly $100 more for all those extras like Bluetooth and weird features like movie/music/game modes. These extra features are great on paper, but at the end of the day I'm sure all you want are reliable speakers that sound great. The speakers are very confusing to set up and have multiple modes, making them very frustrating to use. The remote control is of very poor quality and has no indicators so you don't know if anything happens when you press the buttons. I also had constant static coming out of the speakers when no sound was playing (maybe I had a poor quality model). I gave these speakers 3 stars because they sound great and look great. I would not recommend these speakers to the average person as they are too difficult to use. Either spend $40 to get the same sound quality without all the extra stuff, or spend $200 on better speakers (I did and they had no pain or regret).
