I use this solder exclusively for high quality studio and audiophile audio cables that I collect at the store. While I'm not sure if this improves the sound quality in my opinion, it's much easier to work with than regular solder, saves production time (especially at high volumes), and creates very strong, corrosion-resistant joints. My understanding is that this will improve corrosion resistance in the long run and it appears to be the case. I've also never had a bad connection with this soldering on any of the thousands of cables I've made (and some musicians are very abusive of cables). While I use multicore solder for electronics prototyping and Kester for general work, anything that really matters in terms of performance and signal usually goes to Cardas. And it's made right here in Oregon, which I love.
